Did you know that the majority of tooth and gum conditions don’t always have obvious symptoms? You are therefore strongly recommended to visit your dentist once a year (as recommended) for a routine check-up.
When you visit our practice for your routine check-up you can rest assured you’re in the very best hands. As well as having a wealth of experience, our dentist Dr Mulgund uses some
of the most advanced technology and equipment available to ensure you receive a thorough dental health check.
Before conducting your check-up Dr Mulgund will discuss your dental health with you, including any problems you may have been experiencing. He will always sit opposite you while doing this (it’s not nice talking up the dentist’s nostrils, is it?) before moving behind you once he’s ready to conduct your examination.
Finally, once Dr Mulgund is satisfied your mouth has been thoroughly checked he may refer you to our hygienist/therapist Amy Evans. Amy will be able to offer you a deep-clean procedure (a scale and polish) and advice about all-important preventative health, such as keeping your teeth and gums healthy in between visits to see us. At Densmile Dental Care we guarantee all of our patients that they will experience no pain during their procedures. As well as administering numbing gel before any injections, Dr Mulgund asks all patients to raise their hand if they are experiencing any discomfort at any point. He will then stop what he is doing and won’t start again until you are completely happy. Where necessary, he will provide additional local anaesthetic. However, if you are still experiencing discomfort after all endeavours, the treatment can be suspended and re-arranged if needs be.
